Retail Storefront

The 780 +/- sq. ft. retail storefront was the original blacksmith shop and has been beautifully restored for use as a welcome center and office for the B&B business. It has been issued a liquor license which can be renewed by the new owner. The opportunities are endless for this historical building.

The Ransleben/Moellering House

This original 1800s family homestead of Mr. Ransleben’s daughter, Valeska, is located on Main Street and offers elegant decor and luxury amenities, including an enclosed courtyard with a private hot tub and fireplace. The fully decorated home has been meticulously restored and has 12-foot ceilings, stone walls and 3 bedrooms, each with their own bathroom and walk-in shower. A kitchenette provides simple appliances, including a small refrigerator, sink, coffee maker and microwave.

8 B&B Cottages

These charming cottages, each accommodating 2 guests, are named after Mr. Ransleben’s other 8 children. They are newly constructed to reflect the various eras and construction styles of the town’s history, including Colonial, early Fredericksburg and Victorian. Each features luxury details, such as stone fireplaces, private hot tubs, reclaimed antique brick, Victorian finishes, period antiques and wide plank floors. The beautiful grounds were designed by award-winning landscape architect René J. L. Fransen of New Orleans who laid out the cottages to encircle a beautiful water feature that runs the length of the property and offer views of Barons Creek.

Conference Center

The 861 +/- sq. ft. conference center is configured to accommodate 12 and mimics the dog-trot style of the time period. It creates a warm sense of community among the cottages.
